The raw material used to produce ITISTRAP PET plastic strapping is subject to very strict laboratory controls before being processed. Before strapping production, the raw recycled PET material is cleaned and then crystallised. The crystallised recycled PET material is then reprocessed in ITISTRAP's SSP system, a technology at the very forefront that increases the viscosity of raw PET material to the desired viscosity through the use of high temperatures and vacuum system technology. The viscosity is the most important measure in obtaining a quality plastic strapping with a high breaking strength and a good sealing efficiency. ITISTRAP can obtain a viscosity of up to 20% more than virgin PET material.

Further more, ITISTRAP's PET plastic strapping can be treated with special additives that have been tested and selected in its laboratories, to prevent splitting and reduce the tension loss after strapping, and reaching a joint efficiency up to 100% (ie. Flexter PET strapping). For these reasons, ITISTRAP's Flexter PET strapping is suitable for difficult applications where certain characteristics are required.

	ITISTRAP's Standard PET Strapping ITISTRAP's Standard PET strapping is manufactured from high-quality raw materials, carefully selected and controlled in order to obtain a high-tensile strength and elasticity, a reduced relaxation and a good joint efficiency. The Standard range of PET strapping is like a hand-grade PET strap, and works well with strapping tools, both battery and pneumatic, and works well on automatic machines in most applications, eg.
